The Cutting Edge...Special Guest: Me!

(Cut to WWS Studios as the camera pans on the set of the Cutting Edge. There's only one stool in the center. In the background, we can hear Alterbridge's Metalingus. Edge slowly walks in the cameraframe, sporting black jeans, one of his t-shirts, a black sportcoat as well as sunglasses. Edge takes off his sunglasses and hangs them on the collar of his shirt.)

Edge: As you can see now, I am now officially a member of World Wrestling Syndicate. Which means that from now on, you will have the opportunity to see the greatest wrestler you would ever see. THE Rated R Superstar, moi...Edge. And I decided to start things off with a bang with the season premiere of my segment the Cutting Edge. As usual, I will go to the bottom of things here in this company and ask the questions that every wrestling fan wants to know. And I thought that only one individual could start things off on the right foot: Me!

You see, ever since I signed my contract, I've heard all sorts of things. I've heard everybody saying that they are the best and blah blah blah. I'm sorry to disappoint you people, but you're ALL wrong...on ALL counts. I've been the most watched WWE Champion in almost a decade. I've given my blood, my sweat and my tears to be the best in this business. I've shown countless times that no individual was my equal. Whether it is The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels....hell, even, my little brother Christian. Ask everyone around and they will tell you: The Rated R Superstar is the best thing going in the world today. Now, lots of people in the industry have called me a lousy champion, as well as a lousy human being. Well, I beg to differ. I'd rather use the term "opportunist". Life is all about opportunities. There are those who watch the parade go by and those who jump on the bandwagon, give a swift kick in the nuts of the driver in front and then, they take the lead. That's the kind of guy that I am. I won't lie to you, wrestling fans: I couldn't give a damn if you like me or not. As long as I have a title around my waist, and as long as I have destroyed an opponent along the way, that is all that matters.

(Edge takes back his sunglasses and puts them back on.)

Edge: This Monday marks the premiere of Monday Night Mayhem and I fully intend to make an impact in some kind of way. I don't know how yet but as you came to know me, I'll leave a mark on this show no matter how. The only mission I have in the WWS is to become the WWS Champion and I do not care whose head I have to step over to do it. I won't make any guarantees because it isn't necessary; I've shown you many times in the past what I'm all about. But you can trust me on one thing, when Mayhem will be over, everybody will have only one name on their lips: EDGE!

(Alterbridge's Metalingus starts again and Edge leaves the Cutting Edge set.)
